ABOUT

OUR ECD SCHOOL

The school started in the year 2002 with a few children and teachers. It has grown tremendously and conducts many educational functions. Among other interesting activities includes: – special study tour such as visiting animal orphanage, game parks, national museum and giraffe center where children conceptualize the learning of pictures into a reality.

Gilgil Hills Schools ECD has proven to be the best school in the entire county offering the best quality education to both boys and girls at early stages.

School Life

We have been having a variety of various activities which includes, swimming, football, tyre racing among others. In addition to that we have devoted them in story telling, reciting poems, riddles and reading story books which nature and improves their talents.

Sports

Since the year 2009 the school has been participating in extra curricular activities especially in Kenya Music Festivals. We take part in zonal and regional levels emerging the 1st position in both levels. We are known country wide in reading the national levels for six years consecutively we have been meeting the president in state house after performing the final concert in Gala.

Academics

The school has a well organized administration and teaching aspects. It has already been a waded as the best E.C.D school in the sub-county six times consecutively both academic and extra-curriculum.

The annual graduation ceremonies that were started in 2009 are now a milestone inception in Gilgil sub-county as the children are eager to join STD (one) in the prestigious Gilgil Hills Primary school
